Hi, everyone!

We finally had a chance to schedule our upcoming young adult events. We hope you will join us for some of them!

This group is for post high school 18–30s at Bethel Lutheran Church in Cupertino. We will also send out invites for events as they get closer to the date. Please make sure to RSVP so we have a proper headcount.

Join the Bethel community in worship at 10:45am and then come for lunch afterwards with fellow young adults. The scheduled lunches are:

• Sunday, Dec 11 at Doppio Zero in Cupertino
• Sunday, Jan 29 at DC Tap House in Cupertino
• Sunday, Feb 26 at Oren’s Hummus Shop in Cupertino
• Sunday, Mar 12 at Viva Thai Bistro in Cupertino
• Sunday, Apr 23 at Fish’s Wild in Cupertino

We will be hosting our second annual young adults wine tasting at our place in West San Jose. Please bring a bottle of wine for the tasting (please spend less than $15) and an appetizer to share. This event is a 21+ event and the wine tasting will be Saturday, Dec 17 beginning at 7pm. Look out for an invite shortly.

It has been brought to our attention that email address we have does not actually work! We’ve set up a new one bethelcupertino.youngadults@gmail.com. Please add this to your email addresses, and feel free to email us with any questions (emails will be forwarded on to Courtney and Joel).

I’ve also set up a Google Calendar for our events. If you’d like to be added to the calendar list so you can see the events, let us know and we will add you!

We will currently put our Bible studies on hold for a bit. We’re hoping of doing this once a month after the New Year. Stay tuned for more information. We meet at someone’s home, eat (people bring their own dinner) and go through a Bible study from the ELCA’s Faith Lens. If you are interested in hosting one, let us know.
