Don't just Teach about the Bible. Change lives! That is the motto of Group Publishing's Faith Weaver curriculum that Bethel is using during this year's Kid Connection. Kid Connection is Bethel's Sunday morning Children's Ministry program for ages 3 through 6th grade. We meet most Sunday's from 9:15 – 10:15 AM. This is a place where children grow up learning to love God, are actively serving his purpose, and are in the process of growing to honor God in all areas of their lives.
FaithWeaver Bible Curriculum is a resource God will use to change the lives of the children of Bethel.
Lessons encourage people to focus on the one most important thing in life: a growing relationship with Jesus.

(the Mary and Martha story), Jesus said, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed."
Every lesson in FaithWeaver helps students focus on this "one thing," a growing relationship with Jesus.
Whether they are studying Bible stories from the Old Testament or the New Testament, learners will be challenged to grow closer to Jesus every week.

Nursery/Toddler Care is available for children Newborn through age 3 year-round. During both services, children 3 years (potty trained) and older are encouraged to participate in our Kid Connection preschool program. Our Nursery staff is professional, friendly, and courteous to those who visit. Feel free to stay as long as you'd like to allow your child to get familiar with the many activities our nursery has to offer. Nursery care is offered during each worship service and is located down the hallway from the Sanctuary.
The Sonbeams class is for children who are 3–4 years old and have not started Junior Kindergarten or Kindergarten. We meet from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM in preschool room 42. The children have opening, lesson time, free play, circle time and snack. All children in the Preschool Sonbeams class must be toilet trained.
Each Sunday beginning at 9:45 AM from September through May, the elementary children at Kid Connection will explore various aspects of FaithWeaver as they learn to apply the Gospel to their everyday lives. The children will be challenged to think about how they can make the connection and do life with God in the picture.
FaithWeaver's goal is just that: to weave faith in Jesus Christ into all areas of learners' lives. Children of all ages study the same lesson and Bible passage every week. The extra tools, such as take-home pages and Driving Home the Point will also help encourage families to integrate what the children have learned into daily life!
Students walk chronologically through the Old Testament over the course of three years. During the winter and spring quarter, the students walk through the New Testament each year, looking primarily at a different Gospel account each time. This way, children zero in each year on Jesus — the center of God's story — and also systematically work through the Bible history of the Old Testament that leads up to Jesus.

Our elementary classes begin begin in their classrooms at 9:15 AM.
Each 45–minute session uses games, stories, current events, community issues, crafts, role-playing, reflection, discussion and/or a variety of other methods to connect to the Bible, worship, and mission. Learners see how God's Word speaks to their lives today.
Quarterly: Quarters are divided so they intersect both with the school year and the church year.
Flexible: Uses broadly grouped age levels, giving the leaders and teachers freedom to set up Kid Connection to best suit our needs.
