2026 Layette Kit Donation
Beginning Sunday, Apr 19

For over 20 years, Sacred Heart Community Service has been offering layette kits to families who are either expecting a baby or have a newborn. The program began one day when a young father came into the Clothes Closet in a panic, in need of something to dress his baby in to leave the hospital. All that could be found for him that day was a couple of towels. A Sacred Heart staff member was inspired to reach out to her circle of friends to donate blankets and other items to welcome a newborn. Today, Sacred Heart provides these bags each month to help families give their newest member a warm welcome home.

Bethel’s 2022 donation

Bethel is once again holding a collection drive starting April 19. Donate one or more items as you feel able.

For each layette bag we need:

• diapers (newborn or size 1)
• wipes
• receiving blankets (pack of 3 or 4)
• 3 onesies
• 3 sleepers
• shampoo
• socks
• bottles

You may bring your donation to Bethel from April 19 through May 17. You may also ship directly to my home (let me know to expect a shipment), drop at my home, or I can pick up from your home. Let me know if you need help in any way.
