A lifelong musician, Marina began her formal music education at the age of 10, at the prestigious Stolyarsky Music School in Odessa, Ukraine. She holds a Masters degree in Piano from Nezhandanova Odessa State Musical Academy, with emphasis on Music Theory, in the Vocal-Choral department. This education equipped her with the skills necessary to accompany any instrument or vocal choir.

Since immigrating to the United States in 1992, Marina has worked as a music instructor at a popular Church-affiliated music school, accompanied various religious and secular choirs, and developed a thriving private teaching practice. She has been an active member of the California Music Teachers' Association since 1995.

Two years ago Marina happily accepted a position at Bethel Lutheran Church as a choir accompanist. She is glad to be able to share her skills and passion with the members of the choir and the entire Bethel Congregation.
