Ben serves as Lead Pastor here at Bethel Lutheran Church. His passion is centered on knowing Jesus and the church that Christ established. “We are the family of God. Jesus has claimed us so that we can share that love with each other.”

Ben preaches with passion and joy as he explains the spiritual truths of the Bible. His sermons can be found on iTunes and on his website. Occasionally he posts other interesting articles as well.

Ben is married to Rachel who is the Director of Education and Guest Engagement at The Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito, CA. They have three children between them: Molly, Carl and Max. The Bergrens also have three dogs: Trinity (the three legged Siberian Husky, Katie and Momo (who are Schipperkes).

When not at church Ben loves to hike in the Marin Headlands, runs several times a week and loves to musky fish in Northern Wisconsin.
